Laser cutting of metal is the process of cutting metal blanks using a laser beam. The laser beam is focused on the surface into a very small point, which causes local heating of the material, resulting in a change of its structure – melting or complete burning through. The edges of the cut blanks come out smooth and neat, without burrs or molten deposits. There are no configuration limitations. Laser cutting makes it easier to manufacture parts of complex shapes, non-standard elements, and products with original designs.
